Q3 2022 Snapshot: Top Fitness & Weight Loss Apps in Latin America

In the third quarter of 2022, the fitness and weight loss category saw varying performance across top applications in Latin America. Insights from Sensor Tower highlight the trends in downloads and active users for these leading apps.

Lucky Step-Walking Tracker began with around 493k downloads in the last week of June, but experienced a downward trend to approximately 213k by the end of September. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from around 881k to 582k over the same period.

For Home Fitness Coach: FitCoach, there was an impressive surge in downloads, starting at around 104k and peaking at nearly 393k in the last week of August, then settling to around 233k by September's end. Revenue saw significant growth, especially in mid-August, reaching around 118k, and weekly active users peaked at approximately 763k in late August.

Sweatcoin showed a steep decline in downloads from around 699k to 106k by the quarter's close, while revenue declined modestly from about 7.7k to 3.1k. Weekly active users started at around 2.9 million but saw a decrease to around 1.4 million.

Home Workout - No Equipment maintained a relatively stable performance in downloads, hovering between 140k and 160k, with a slight uptick to around 160k in the final week. Revenue figures were modest but consistent, with a slight increase from 3.7k to 3.5k over the quarter. Weekly active users showed resilience, staying above 1.1 million throughout.

Lastly, Six Pack in 30 Days saw a moderate decline in downloads, from around 156k to 123k, while revenue showed a slight decrease from 1.2k to 912. The app's weekly active users remained above 1.1 million, ending the quarter at around 1.2 million.
